Helen Comeaux

Helen Arabie Comeaux, 95, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 3:38 PM. She was a native of Thibodaux, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Monday July 19, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church from 9:30am until Mass time.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will begin following visitation at 11:00am with inurnment following Mass in Bayou Black Cemetery.

Helen is survived by her children, Calvin Comeaux Jr., Dale Comeaux Stewart and husband Alan, and Kerry Comeaux and wife Janine Morris; grandchildren, Calvin Comeaux, III and wife Marcella, Kyle Comeaux, Kayla Comeaux, Tiffany Comeaux Eichorn and husband John; great grandchildren, Alexandra Comeaux, Simone Comeaux, Adam Eichorn, Holland Eichorn, and Landon Eichorn. Helen is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Comeaux Sr.; parents, Joseph and Linda Guillotte Arabie; daughter-in-law, Rosie Comeaux; brothers, Irving Arabie, and Junius “Nonnie” Arabie; and sisters, Ester A. Adams, Theresa A. “PeeWee” Legendre, and Lois A. Lasseigne.

Helen will be deeply missed and always loved by her family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Catholic Charities in Helen’s memory.
