Heath Duplantis

Heath Michael Duplantis, age 41, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Memorial Liturgy of the Word at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.

Heath is survived by his children, Chloe Duplantis, and Kullen Duplantis; parents, Dwayne and Susan Foret Duplantis; brother, Beau and wife Kimma Duplantis; nieces and nephews, Andre’a, Kage, and Tripp Duplantis. Heath is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Heath is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harry Lee and Vella “Teedie” Olivier Duplantis; maternal grandparents, Warren and Odessa Bourg Foret.

Heath was loving, caring, thoughtful, and had a heart of gold. His loving personality was very contagious and would always bring a smile to his family and friends. Heath loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending quality time with them. He also cherished his time with his friends as well. Heath was taken to soon, but heaven needed another angel. He now rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
