Gordon was a World War II veteran that served as a Sergeant with the Thunderbolt Division in the U.S. Army. He was sent as part of the Infantry reinforcements that set a record for racing across 215 miles and over 4 rivers in two weeks to establish and hold the only America bridgehead over the Elbe. He grew up humble and always had a kind and giving heart. He was a man of few words, but meant each one he said. He was a very devoted and loving husband. His dedication to his work was unmatched by anyone and no matter how difficult the job became, he would not stop until it was complete. He never complained and always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by his family.
The family would like to thank The Suites of Sugar Mill Point for their tireless patience and kindness throughout Mr. Brien’s stay.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic; local and CDC regulations require facemask and proper social distancing while attending funeral services.
