Gloria LeBouef

Gloria LeBouef, 97, a native Haynesville, LA and resident of Houma, LA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and religious services will begin at 1 p.m. in Dauphine Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial following at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Gloria is survived by her sons, Iley LeBouef and Daniel LeBouef (Susanna); daughter, Nancy Gingras (Buddy); grandchildren, Ben Gingras (Amber), Nathaniel LeBouef, Amanda LeBouef, Jules Gingras; great-grandchildren, Alexander LeBouef and Ainsley Gingras; and sister-in-law, Gert Butler.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Iley LeBouef Sr.; her parents, Ance and Annie Butler; and 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Gloria in her early days enjoyed sewing, gardening, and taking care of her cats. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved to spend time with them and her children. Gloria was an avid reader in her later years. Gloria was the “family nurse” and stayed by their bedside until they were feeling better. Gloria will be missed by all who had the joy of knowing and loving her.
