Gloria Ann Boudreaux

Gloria Ann Buquet Boudreaux, 82, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away while surrounded by her children at 4:35pm, October 4, 2019, at Peachtree Village.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl, Mississippi.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00pm, Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at the Cathedral of St. Francis de Sales in Houma, Louisiana.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the church. 

Entombment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery, Houma.

Gloria was born in Houma on July 4, 1937, to Celina Marcel Buquet and Lloyd Buquet.  She attended high school at Terrebone High School in Houma, and attended college at Nichols University and University of Southwestern Louisiana.

Gloria married Ernest Boudreaux in 1954.  She worked as a teacher and enjoyed quilting and reading as hobbies. 

She is survived by sons, Steve Boudreaux and Troy Boudreaux (Kim); daughter, Christi Boudreaux Jones (Gary); 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Celina Buquet.
