Glenn Toups

Glenn “Salty” Gerard Toups, 57, passed away June 10, 2017. He was a native of Raceland, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will begin Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and continue Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 9:00AM until service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot, LA beginning at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, LA. Glenn is survived by his wife, Tammy Boudreaux Toups; mother, Rita Fields Toups; daughters, Camee Richard and husband Scott; Kimberly Toups; step-son, Dustin Trahan; brother, Carl Toups and wife Michelle; and Sisters Linda LeBeouf and husband Eric, and Susan Alario and husband Vincent; grandchildren, Bentley, Khloe Toups, Kristen, Kade, Matthew Richard; step grandchildren, Alexia, Blaize Trahan. Glenn is preceded by his father, Roland Toups; son, Jonathan Glenn Toups; brother Craig Toups. Glenn was very devoted to his kids and grandkids. He loved each of them dearly. He loved to work in his garden. His gourmet sandwiches was the food of legends. Salty loved to ride and was a past member of the Houma Hog Chapter in Houma, LA. He will be dearly missed by family and friends; but never forgotten.
