Glenn Swofford, Jr.

Glenn Swofford, Jr., age 82, passed away Wednesday July 20, 2022. He was a longtime resident of Houma, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation Thursday July 28, 2022 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery #2.

Glenn is survived by his children, Glen Gregory (Alicia) Swofford, Laurie (Berry) Hood, Nathan (Sylvia) Boudreaux, Eddie Boudreaux, Darlene (David) Chapman; grandchildren, Christopher Swofford, April (Gary) Brannen-Powell, Amber Bradley, Jessica (Chris) Woodson, Shandra (Ronnie) Blankenship, Nicolette Poppa, Meghan, Kilee and Riley Swofford, Joey (Candice) and Ami Babin, Jessica and Casey (Ashley) Naquin, Kendall Jr., Christopher (Jennifer) and Jacob (Janet) Gilmer, and Eddie Boudreaux Jr.; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Dole Swofford and James Swofford.

Glenn is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Armond Swofford; parents, Glenn Allen Swofford, Sr. and Hazel Hacker Swofford; children, Jerry Swofford, Glenn Michael Swofford, Darryl Swofford, Cindy Gilmer, Michael Boudreaux and Rickey Boudreaux; brother, Gene Allen Swofford.

Glenn was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved cars, traveling and cooking for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
