Geri Bonvillain

Geri Ann Powell Bonvillain, age 77, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.

Geri is survived by her sons, Douglas L. Bonvillain and wife, Katrina, and Kent C. Bonvillain and wife, Jennifer; brother, Edward Powell; grandchildren, Justin, Marianne, Chris, Kate, and John Bonvillain.

Geri is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Earl and Beulah Pontiff Powell; brothers, Donald and Daniel Powell.

Geri was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was Queen of Aphrodite 1985. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to Mae Morgan and Rachel Breaux for their love and compassion. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity would be preferred.
