Geraldine "Jean" Gros

Geraldine “Jean” Gros a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away on October 26, 2024. She was born on October 28, 1936 to parents Alex Punch Sr. and Lydia Leboeuf Punch.

Family and Friends are invited to attend her Visitation on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM till time of service. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, 5899 Hwy 311, Houma, LA 70360.

Jean is survived by her children; Sarah Chaisson (Bryan Sr.), Wilbert Gros Jr(Janiece), Ronald Gros(Melanie), Gary Gros Sr.(Jescynthia) ,Lisa Rousseau (Bo), and Jeremy Gros(Cammie), her grandchildren; Bryan Chaisson Jr, Sabrina Fick, Shawn Chaisson, Kirbie Chaisson, Brandy LeBlanc, Richard DeHart, Erica Guise, Crystal Martin, Lindsay Billiot, Camee’ Poirrier, Gary Gros Jr, Malinda Riley, Lydia Naquin, Ray Francis Jr., Raechelle Francis, Brittany Francis, Beau Rousseau, Bryce Rousseau Patrick Gros, Ashton Gros, Madelyn Gros, October Gros, her 30 Great Grandchildren and one on the way, her brothers; Calvin Punch Sr., Robert Punch Sr., Joffery Punch Sr., Allen Punch Sr. and Alvin Punch Sr., her sisters; Shirley Dumond and Mary Callahan

She is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Wilbert Gros Sr., her Mother Lydia Leboeuf Punch and Father Alex Punch Sr., her brothers; Ronald Punch, Donald Punch, Gerald Punch Sr. and Alex Punch Jr., her sisters; Dora Jordan, Nancy DeHart, and her Great Granddaughter-Lauren Gros.

We would like to thank Heritage Manor and their Staff for their care given and also St. Cathryn Hospice.
