Francis Bourg

Francis John Bourg, 67, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021.  Francis is a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Bourg, LA.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Chauvin Funeral Home on Thursday, July 8, 2021 beginning at  10:00 a.m with a special celebration to begin at 12:00 p.m. to remember his life.

Francis is survived by his loving wife forty-eight years, Patty Pellegrin Bourg; son, Cody Bourg and wife Sadie Authement Bourg and their children, Dylan Bourg and Luke Bourg.

Francis is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ethel Champagne Bourg; brothers, Philip Bourg and Donald Bourg; and one godson, Jason Boudreaux. 

Francis was co-owner of Bourg Marine & Supply with his brother, Donald; servicing many in the Dulac, Terrebonne Parish area.  He was a strong supporter of the Haven and avid sportsman; most especially fishing and hunting with his son and grandsons. He enjoyed their many hours spent outdoors.

The family would like to thank the staff of Mary Bird Perkins, Terrebonne Medical Center Radiation Department, STAT Home Health, Dr. Craig Wade and Lacee Cavalier, NP for the care provided during his brief illness.
