Francis Arcement

Francis J. Arcement, age 87, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Maison de Ville. He was a native of Labadieville and a resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Chapel Dauphine at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Francis is survived by two children; sisters, Lorraine Angeron, Kathleen Hymel, and Rosalie Thibodaux.

Francis is preceded in death by his parents, Octave and Celine Boudreaux Arcement; sister, Irene Dazee.

Francis was a proud Army Veteran and served in the Korean War. His service to our country is greatly appreciated. Francis was a master carpenter. On his pastime he enjoyed fishing and looking at the still waters, enjoying the beautiful earth that God had created.
