Eugene Mac Lodrigue, Sr.

Eugene Michael “Mac” Lodrigue Sr., 60, passed Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and Tuesday from 9:00AM until noon at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma, LA. Ministry services will begin Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home at 12:00PM. Burial will follow services in St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery.

Mac is survived by his loving wife, Lydia Lovell Lodrigue; children, Winter Rel and companion Rocky, Eugene Lodrigue Jr., Atlas Lodrigue and companion Jamie, Mindy Lodrigue and companion Trell, Nydia Lodrigue and companion Peanut, Fletcher Lodrigue and companion Celitta, Shera Lodrigue and companion James, Chase Lodrigue and companion Tonya, Zeth Lodrigue and companion Tia, SIngee Lodrigue and companion Big E, Shyanne Lodrigue and companion Aaron, Chelse Lodrigue and companion Rene, Summer Lodrigue and Tessa Stinson; fifty-one grandchildren, four great grandchildren; father, Wilsey Lodrigue; brothers, Jim Lodrigue, Adam Lodrigue, Duane Lodrigue, Kerry Lodrigue; sisters, Beverly Guidry, Debbie Verdin, and Judith Dion.

Mac is preceded in death by by his mother Melvin Lodrigue, mother-in-law, Lois Lovell, father-in-law, Atlas Lovell; and one brother, one sister, three borthers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

Mac was an awesome husband, father, son, brother, grandparent, uncle and friend. He loved being on the water doing what he loved, commercial fishing, loved his pecans and fruits. The most selfless person to ever know. He was always ready and willing to help.

His will be greatly missed by all who knew him; but never ever forgotten and forever loved.
