Etienne De Villiers

Etienne, age 47 passed away on March 5, 2019. He was a native of South Africa and a resident of Theriot, LA.

Friends of the family are invited to attend the celebration of Etienne's life, Friday March 8, 2019 at 9:00 AM in Chapel Dauphine at Chauvin Funeral Home.

Etienne is survived by his wife of 9 years, Jennifer Vidrine De Villiers, Mother, Linda Buckley De Villiers, Father, Dorren De Villiers and brother Jacques De Villiers.  Mother in law and father in law, Rose and Steve Vidrine, his step children, Trae Mayeux and wife Aubrie and Regan Mayeux.  Step grandson James Mayeux, His special dogs Pepper, Mindy and Bea (Be Bop) and his two "American Bayou Brothers", James DeHart and Bradley Voisin and their spouses, Dee Dee DeHart and Pam Voisin. 

Etienne is preceded in death by his step father Johan Spies .

Etienne was a very loving husband to Jenny. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking.  His greatest joy was getting together and spending time with his friends.

Etienne was a Commercial Diver internationally and had many friends and coworkers around the world.  He was a special man that will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
