Ethel “Tut-Tut” Annette Hebert Luke, age 94 passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. She was a native and a resident of Dulac, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Holy Family Catholic Church on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 6641 Grand Caillou Rd, beginning at 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be held in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Ethel is survived by son, Keith James Luke and fiancé, Karen Mabry; daughters, Beverly Luke LeBlanc and husband, Irvin and Gail Luke LeBoeuf and husband, Ronald; grandchildren, Deana Carmichael and husband, Mack, Murray Pellegrin and wife, Tracy , Rachael Sangster and husband, Brinson, Courtney Arceneaux and husband, Mark, Brandy Rispone and husband, Thad, and Bud Luke; 17 great-grandchilden; 11 great-great-grandchildren and one on the way. Ethel is preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Lawrence Anthony Luke; parents, Sidney Leo and Mary Annarice Bourg Hebert; brothers, Ernest, Walton, Anthony, Vernon, Myron, and Charles Hebert; sisters, Esther H. Maronge, Anna Mae Hebert and Zelta Hebert; son-in-law, Murphy Pellegrin. Ethel was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing pokeno with her friends, gardening, cooking and sewing. She was fun loving and people enjoyed her company and making them laugh. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Luke family.
