Ellen Lirette

Ellen Derouen Lirette, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at Terrebonne General Medical Center. Ellen is survived by her husband of 47 years, Albert John Lirette, Sr.; daughter, Monica Lirette Daigle and husband Tim; sons, Albert “Johnny” Lirette, Jr. and wife Nancy, and Brady Lirette; grandchildren, Autumn Lirette, Madison Lirette, Philip Daigle; father, Russell Derouen; brother, Chris Derouen and wife Myra; sisters, Linda Derouen Files and husband John, Penelopy Kimball and husband Steven, Jane West; she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and her beloved pet, Lola. Ellen is preceded in death by her mother, Marian Verrett Derouen; brother, Russell Derouen, Jr. Ellen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to all. Everyone will miss her beautiful smile and kind words. Ellen loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Ellen loved to crochet, sew, but most of all known for her cooking and baking. She worked for Wal-Mart for sixteen years carrying many hats, she worked as a baker, customer service department, and accounting department. Her family at Wal-Mart will miss her dearly. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. The family will like to express a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Donald Schwab, Dr. William St. Martin, The staff at Terrebonne General Medical Center.
