Ella Rogers

Ella Mae Rogers, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Terrebonne General Medical Center. She was a longtime resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, April 14, 2018 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery.

Ella was survived by her husband of sixty years, Charles Rogers, Sr.; sons, Charles Rogers, Jr. and wife Hazel, Timmy P. Rogers; she is also survived by numerous extended family.

Ella is preceded in death by her parents, Simon and Nettie Pitre; sister, Margaret Pitre Griffin.

Ella was a loving wife and mother. She was a beautiful lady that was loving and caring, above all, she loved and serve her Lord and Savior. She was also faithful to the Blessed Mother and said the Rosary daily.
