Elaine Authement

Elaine Authement, 88, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 10:42PM. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 9:00AM until service time at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Houma, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00PM with internment following in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Elaine is survived by her caretakers, Beulah and Deacon Lee Crochet and numerous cousins and friends she met throughout her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. L. Authement and Mabel Chauvin Authement; and one sister, Ione Pellegrin.

Elaine was a dedicated employee of Bell South for over thirty years. Elaine was a devout Catholic and lived her Faith to the fullest. Elaine leaves behind many friends of the clergy.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Marie Dinger, Amedysis Home Health, Maison De Ville Nursing Home, Haydel Memorial Hospice, Rebecca Landry, and Susie Bourg.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
