Edward "Teeny" Moore

January 16, 1928 — May 13, 2018

Edward (Teeny) Joseph Chauvin Moore, 90 years old. Peacefully passed away on May 13, 2018 by his wife and two daughters.

A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in his honor on Thursday, May 17, 2018 in the Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Visitation for Friends and family will be from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday.

Edward (Teeny) is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mabel Baio Moore. Loving daughters, Karen and husband Curt Marcello, Jr., Connie and husband Claude Seago, Jr., both of Houma. Also, his cherished grandchildren, Callie and husband Corey Thiac and their daughters, Sadie and Kate Thiac, Courtney and husband Ryan Clement and their daughter Reese Clement and daughter Elise (intended August 27, 2018) and Cammie Seago. Step-grandchildren, Terie and Curt Marcello and step-great-grandchildren, C.J., Brettly, Katie and Alex and half sister, Peggy Catsikis.

Edward (Teeny) was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Joseph Chauvin and Delnotte Toups Chauvin, brother, Royce Moore, and adopted father, Langar Moore.

He enjoyed camping, going to Disney World with his grandchildren, playing with his great grandchildren and hanging outdoors.

Native and resident of Houma he was a Supervisor for Halliburton retiring after for 35 years of service and during his time there he made several friends with whom he shared a close bond with for more than 60 years. He was a Proud Army Veteran of WWII and a parishioner of St. Gregory Parish.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
