Edna Fanguy

Edna Martin Fanguy, age 96, passed away Sunday June 20, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was a native and longtime resident of Chauvin, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation Friday June 25, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin from 9:30 AM until service time at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Elie Cemetery.

Edna is survived by her son, Edward Fanguy, Jr.; daughter, Joyce Wolf and husband Bruce; grandchildren, Brad Fanguy and wife Kayla; great-grandchildren, Stella Fanguy, Edmund Fanguy, and Abram Fanguy; sister, Cecile Martin Ledet.

Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Fanguy, Sr.; parents, Andrew Martin and Martha LeBouef Martin.

Edna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and tending to her flowers. Edna also had a great love for animals, especially her grand-furbaby, Groucho. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
