Earline Carrere Ledet, age 74, passed away on January 23, 2018 at Terrebonne General Medical Center. She was a longtime resident of Houma. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Chapel Dauphine at Chauvin Funeral Home on Sunday, January 28, 2018 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Monday beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Earline is survived by her daughters; Antoinette and husband Warren Bonvillian, Sr., Jessie and husband Nick Dakroub, and Frances and husband Charles Tribe; sister, Thelma Brettillo; brothers, Renauld and wife Robin Carrere, Jimmy, Donald, and Barry Robichaux; grandchildren, Warren Bonvillian, Jr., and Brandon Bonvillian, Brittany, Bridget, David, and Collin Tribe, Nicholas and Meagan Dakroub; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Earline is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Albert F. Ledet; parents, John, and Antoinette Robichaux Carrere; brother, John Allen Carrere, Jr.; sisters, Jessie Hebert, Jean Trosclair, and infant sister. Earline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was blessed with a beautiful family and thoroughly enjoyed her grandbabies. She also loved to play bingo and fellowship with her friends while playing cards.
