Doug Fanguy

Doug Michael Fanguy, 45, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 3:08am.  Doug was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 9:00am until service time. A Liturgy of the Word will follow visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am.  Burial will follow services in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. 

Doug is survived by his loving wife, Kristy Redman Fanguy; daughters, Hannah Fanguy and Ryelee Fanguy; mother, Aline Domangue Fanguy; step-father, Charlie Beetz;  brothers, Dane Fanguy and wife Stacie, Bret Fanguy and wife Bonnie, Brody Fanguy, Brett Foret and wife Karly, and Brady Foret and wife Joanie; brother-in-law, Rodney Redman Jr. and wife Joni; nephews, Andre’ Fanguy, Hunter Fanguy;  niece, Karlee Redman; uncle, Bobby Fanguy and wife Cynthia. 

Doug is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Fanguy; grandfather, Reynold Fanguy; grandmother, Dorothy Guidry; and step-grandfather, Leslie Guidry.

Doug loved spending time with his three girls, family, brothers and friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
