Dorothy "Dot" Daigle

Dorothy “Dot” Daigle, 78, passed away peacefully Thursday January 21, 2021 at 12:00pm. Dot was a native of Thibodaux and a resident of Bayou Blue for over 50 years.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 9:00am until 11:00am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at St. Louis Catholic Church in Bayou Blue, LA at 11:30am.  Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

Dot is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Roberson and husband Mark, son Philip Daigle and wife Rachel; grandchildren, Matthew Roberson and wife Mindy, Amy Roberson, Blake Roberson, Ethan Daigle and Emily Roberson; great grandchildren, Lucy Roberson, Jaxson Musa and Levi Roberson.

Dot is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry “Paco” Daigle; parents, Harry and Salonge Durocher; sisters, Gloria Gagneaux and Barbara Durocher.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed doing crafts, traveling and playing bingo. She will be deeply missed by all whose hearts she touched.

The family would like to express loving gratitude and appreciation to Heritage Manor Nursing Home for their care for the past three years. The family would like to thank St. Catherine’s Hospice for their services over the last couple of months.
