Thomas Verdin

Thomas “Picky” Verdin, 52, died April 2, 2017 at 6:08 AM. He was a native of Dulac and a resident of Churchpoint, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 9 AM until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home with a Service at 11 AM. He is survived by his companion of 23 years, Marie “Desi” Higginbotham; daughter, Christine; stepdaughter, Heather; brother, Rodney; sisters, Rhonda V. Daigle, and Veronica V. Stanford and husband, Stewart; step grandchildren, Matthew, Lucas, Logan and Gianna; nephews, Shane, Dustin, Stewart II and Seth; niece, Mia; great niece, Madison and Shayne. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry J. Verdin and Mary “Mae” Verdin; step son, Jiles; great niece, Nyjah. He was a commercial fisherman since he was 12 years old. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davison he called his wife. He was the life the party. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Verdin Family.
