Donald K. Tollison, 64, a native of Pell City, Alabama and long time resident of Houma, passed away after a long battle with cancer, May 17, 2017. Donald was a devoted, loving husband first and foremost, a 22 year military veteran and later, a well-known employee of Napa. He thoroughly enjoyed dancing, watching movies and gardening and loved helping his wife with cooking and housework. He was known for being utterly selfless and would give the shirt off his back to a stranger, should they need it. A big heart, full of love for his family, especially his grand-children, and for Alabama football (Roll Tide). He is survived by his step-children, James Cagle of Houma, Kayla (Cagle) DeRoche of Houma and Wife Yvonne Scott (Cagle) Tollison; Brother Barry Tollison and sisters Linda Gayle (Tollison) Kelly, Carla J. (Tollison) Tipton, Terri Jo (Tollison) Wydemon, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Velo Ree (Perkins) Tollison and his brothers Roger, Tim and Pete Tollison. A wake will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the funeral home with burial in St. Francis Mausoleum No. 2, Houma, Louisiana.
