Donald Pertuit

Donald Anthony Pertuit, age 71 passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 2:50 am. He was a native and a resident of Houma. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 from 9:00 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will be held in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. Donald is survived by his loving companion and caregiver for 10 years, Earline Poiencot Cunningham; brother, Earl Pertuit and wife, Margaret “Sue”; sisters, Linda Boudwin, Yvonne Duplantis, Christine Hartman husband, Allen, and Marion Chauest and husband, Robert, Sr; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donald is preceded in death by wife, Judith Thibodeaux Pertuit; parents, Charleston Edmond and Joyce Victoria Lapeyrouse Pertuit; brother, Larry Pertuit. Donald enjoyed traveling, joking and spending time with family, friends and neighbors. The family thanks Mary Bird Cancer Center, including Dr. Khan and Doe. Christy Guffin RN and Natheniel from Haydel Memorial Hospice. A very special thanks to Tabitha Goodwin, who was with us from the beginning.
