Donald LeBlanc

Donald Peter LeBlanc, age 80, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 12:58 p.m. He was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, January 4, 2021 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 5, 2021 beginning at 8:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. with burial following in St. Elie Cemetery.

Donald is survived by his son, Dwayne P. LeBlanc and wife, Tina; former wife, Judy Bergeron LeBlanc; grandchildren, Kassidi Porche and husband, Brody, Kayla Lirette and companion, Cody, and  Nick Lirette; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Leroy LeBlanc and wife, Nola; sister, Loretta Henry and husband, Herman.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Vivian LeBlanc; sister, Harriet Dupre.

Donald was the owner of LeBlanc Diesel Service for 46 years. He was a hardworking man that took pride in his work. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all whose hearts he touched. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Chabert Medical Center, sitters Kim, Terry, Karen, Mabel, and Mickie, and his longtime friend Steve Adams who took care of his garden and lawn care.

Due to Covid19 and CDC regulations, family and friends attending services are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
