He was predeceased by : his father Donald J. Gaudet Sr.. He is survived by : his mother Gayle Gaudet; his significant other Joanie Jenkins; his siblings, Michele Anderson (Rod), Sharon Willis (Ronnie), David Gaudet (Andrea) and Douglas Gaudet (Maria); his children, James Wixted (Bee), Genevieve Gaudet, Duncan Gaudet (Lulu), Emily Gaudet (Charles), Angel Sheffield (Roy), Mikey Jenkins (Abe) and Scott Jenkins (Christina); his grandchildren, Shelby (Tyler), Billie, Chelsie Sheffield and Sienna Jenkins; and his great grandchild Carson Chenier.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28th 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma, LA (5899 Hwy 311, Houma, LA 70360) and on Saturday, October 29th 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. at Memories Funeral Home (94900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 29th 2022 at 12:00 PM at the Memories Funeral Home (4900 Airline Dr, Metairie, LA 70001).
