Donald Domangue

Donald Joseph Domangue, age 83, passed on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Houma LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Chapel Dauphine at Chauvin Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8, 2018 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery No. 2

Donald is survived by his loving spouse of 65 years, Anna Mae “Mazie” Boudreaux Domangue; sons, Lanny Domangue and companion Lynell Ford, Brad Domangue; daughter, Donna Domangue-Davidson and husband Russell Davidson; seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn D. Henry, Alice D. Donaldson.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Louis Domangue and Helen Roddy Domangue; and granddaughter, Mindi Lynn Domangue.

Donald was a true family man in every sense of the word and was loved and respected by his entire family. He was a true and loyal friend, an honest and simple man. Donald was a jack of all trades. He owned his own electrical business over thirty years, Don Dee Electric. He was also an electrical inspector for Terrebonne Parish until his retirement. He enjoyed eating out and playing cards with his friends.
