Don Lloyd Reynolds, II

Don “Doodle” Reynolds II, age 54, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 in Houma. Don was born in Liberty, MO and a resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at a later date.

Don is survived by his daughter, Taylor Reynolds and her fiancé Devin Buquet and their daughter, Journee Buquet; son, Dalton Reynolds his companion Ariel Daigle and their son, Hudson Reynolds; father, Don Reynolds, Sr. and mother, Donna Sue Wood; siblings, Randall Reynolds, Michael Reynolds, Robin Skaggs, and Donna Lewis; Don is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Don is preceded in death by his brother, Victor Reynolds; maternal grandmother, Mabel Brizendine; paternal grandfather, Arthur Reynolds.

Don was a loving and caring father who cherished his four children of which was his two stepdaughters that he cared for deeply, Brooke and Heather Voisin. He adored his grandchildren and enjoyed spending quality time with them. Don was an avid sports fan, especially watching the LSU and Saints games. In his younger days, Don played football for Evergreen Jr. High and H.L. Bourgeois High School. He also coached his son’s baseball teams for several years. Anyone who knew Don experienced his up-beat energy and booming voice. Don’s personality, caring ways, positive attitude will be missed but always remembered by those who loved him. His presence will never be forgotten.
