Dolores Benoit

Dolores T. Benoit, age 91, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021. She was a lifetime resident of Houma.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral on Saturday, January 9, 2021 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.

Dolores is survived by her daughter, Peggy B. Maeder and husband Paul, sons, David M. Benoit and wife Jacqueline, Harold J. Benoit and wife Terri; sisters, Gloria T. Gales (twin), Josephine T. Bergeron. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and numerous people she took under her wing.

Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, Harold F. Benoit; parents, Josephine Pellegrin Trosclair and Joseph Ellis Trosclair; numerous brothers and sisters.

The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice for their care and compassion.

Due to Covid19 and CDC regulations, family and friends attending services are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
