Diane Richard

Diane Marie Kreamer Richard, 64, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00AM until service time. A Liturgy of the Word will begin after visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home at 12:00PM. Burial will follow in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. Diane is survived by her loving husband, Keith Paul Richard Sr.; her son, Keith Paul Richard Jr and wife Vickie Lynn Richard; daughters, Charolynn Marie Morvant and wife Kim Trahan Morvant, Gwendolynn Marie Theriot and husband Burt James Theriot; brothers Michael Kreamer Sr. and August Kreamer Jr.; sister, Judy Trahan; grandchildren, Jacob Sterkins, Jade Sterkins, Mason Sterkins, Alesha Theriot, Jaden Richard, Dakota Richard, and Sophia Richard, and six great grandchildren. Diane is preceded in death by her parents, August Joseph Kreamer Sr. and Eva Marie Pichauffe Kreamer; brother, Jerry Kreamer; sister, Mary Ann Kreamer; grandson, Bryce Richard. Her family was her biggest love. She cared for them in every way possible. She was an avid seamstress and quilter. She also enjoyed cooking, going to craft shows and flea markets. She took many trips with her family. One of her greatest loves in her life was her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends; but never forgotten.Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Richard family.
