Diane Olivier Adams

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden departure of our beloved Diane Olivier Adams, who passed on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the age of 61. Diane was a native and resident of Houma, La.

A visitation will be held in her honor at St. Bernadette Catholic Church on Monday, March 21, 2022, from 10:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow in St. Frances De Sales Cemetery #2.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Tommy Adams; her loving children, Courtney Damen (Nick) and Abby Adams; grandchildren, Shelbie and Dalton Damen; siblings, Robert Olivier (Ruby), Carole Brunet, and Mark Olivier (Melinda); sisters and brothers-in-law, Amy, Polly, Tim, Holly, and Todd; numerous nieces and nephews; and her furry companion, Phil the Snorkie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abbie and Winona Olivier; father and mother-in-law, Thomas, Sr. and Evelyn Adams; brother-in-law, Gerald Brunet; and her favorite pet, Lady.

Diane was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest pride and joys were her family. Her family and friends look back on her life and cannot help but remember her brilliant smile and laugh. Diane was a graduate of Terrebonne High School (Class of 1980) and Nicholls State University in 1984. She received a Bachelor of Education and dedicated 27 years to teaching elementary school students. Diane was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church for 30 plus years.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Masses be said in Diane’s honor and memory.

Diane will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure to know and love her.
