Destinee "Des" Blanchard

Destinee "Des" Renee' Blanchard 26 years old. A native and resident of Chauvin passed away on Saturday April 28, 2018.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 2, 2018 in the Chapel Dauphine at Chauvin Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday May 3, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church from 10:00 am until mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm.  Burial in St Joseph Mausoleum.

Destinee is survived by her father Dwight and wife Tammy Blanchard and her mother Leslie Neil Doiron and Fiance' Jessie Pierce III. Brothers Kade Doiron and Joshua Blanchard. Sisters Bailey Doiron and boyfriend Andrew Vizier, Alexis Blanchard, Casey Blanchard Ladrum and husband Mat and Anna " Andy" Blanchard. Grandmothers Ramona S. Neil and Annie "Lou" Blanchard. Grandfather Farmond "Cubby" Blanchard.  Great Grandmother Melva Smith. Two nieces on the way Harper Vizier and Lilith Landrum, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Destinee was preceded in death by her Grandfather Charles "Poncho" Neil and Great Grandfather Normand "T-Man" Smith Sr.

Destinee loved her family and friends. She enjoyed camping and going fishing. Since she was a little girl, she loved to dance and competing in competitions. She never met a stranger that didn't become her friend and when she walked in a room, she put a smile on everyone's face.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
