Delores Dryden Moate, 81, a native and resident of Houma died on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 5:58 a.m. Visitation will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017 from 9 a.m. until funeral time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery in Houma. She is survived by her Husband of 61 years, Robert H. Moate; her son Robert C. Moate and wife Rita; her granddaughter Rebekah B. Chase and her children Rylee, Brooklynn, and Cohen; her grandson Levi J. Bankston; her granddaughters Krissi Richard and husband Eddie, and their children Kirra and Karmen; and Ashli Stockton and husband Alex Sarti, her grandson Robert M. Moate and wife Lacey, and their children Jack and Molly; her grandson Brenner S. Moate; one brother Wayne Dryden and wife Kathy, two sisters Pat Pitre, Wanda Breaux and husband C.J.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore “Ted” Dryden and Edia “Toot” Dryden; her daughter Pamela Moate Bankston; her grandson Chris D. Bankston; two brothers, Michael Dryden and Elmer Dryden. She was a member of Living Word Church. Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Moate family.
