David Arceneaux, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Houma, Louisiana.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in Chapel Dauphine at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, August 11, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the Memorial Prayer Service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
David is survived by his siblings, Steven Arceneaux and wife Brenda and their children, Ryan and Ben Arceneaux and April LeBouef; Mona Kaye Porche and husband Clark and their children, Jason and Blake Porche and Michelle Littlewood; Derek Locascio and his children, Derek, Jr., Brittany, Laura, and Breanna Locascio. He is also survived by his companion, Mary Beebe.
David is preceded in death by his father, Emile Arceneaux; mother, Mayola Domangue Evans; step-fathers, Thomas Locascio and Charles Evans; niece, Michelle Arceneaux.
David was a loving brother and uncle. He loved his family dearly and would always inquire about their well being. David loved his Lord, he was an avid reader of his Bible. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Saints and LSU. David was fun and full of life. He was witty with a great sense of humor, good-hearted, kind, generous, and enjoyed listening to music. David also cherished his companioin, Mary. He enjoyed spending quality time together with her and her family. David loved going to work and held the position as a tug boat captain for many years. David was taken from his family too soon, but his love of Christ gave him a home in heaven. He now rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
