Daniel Grundon

Daniel Richard Grundon Sr., 80, a native and resident of Houma, LA passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020. 

Family and friends of the family are invited to a memorial service on February 11, 2020 from 4:00pm until service time. A Liturgy of the Word will begin at 5:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home with services concluded at 5:30pm.  Burial will take place by the family at a later date in Bayou Black Cemetery in Houma, LA. 

Daniel is survived by his children, Dana Grundon Thibodeaux and husband, Craig and Stacy Grundon Ledet and husband, Pudgie; siblings, Charles Grundon Jr., Cheryl Grundon Salisbury and husband Ken; grandchildren, Jenna Guidry, Eric Thidodeaux, Bradley Thibodeaux and wife Jessica, Whitney Ledet Simmons and husband Taylor, and Grant Ledet; great-grandchildren, Marlee, Tripp, Collins, and Grayson.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sr. and Winifred “Winnie” Elfert Grundon; children, Danny, Timmy, Matthew, and Nicholas Grundon.

Daniel enjoyed working with his hands and spent many hours woodworking. He also enjoyed working in his garden and spending time watching nature and birds of flight.
