Daisy Riley

Daisy Brown Riley, age 87, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. She was a native of Montegut and a resident of Houma.

Daisy is survived by her children, Bennie Bourg, Jr. and wife Dawn, George Bourg, and Angie Kappel and husband Melvin III; grandchildren, Bennie Bourg III, Doug, Jacob, and Reece Bourg, Stephen and Matthew Kappel; great-grandson, Connor Bourg; stepchildren, Nancy and Stacey LeBourgeois, Beth and Dewey Frederic Jr., Billy “Dean” Jr. and Libby Riley, Jeffery and Denise Riley, Christopher Drew Riley Sr., Peter and Regina Riley; numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Daisy is preceded in death by her first husband, Bennie Bourg, Sr.; second husband, Billy Riley, Sr.; parents, Marshall Brown, Sr. and Daisy Brown; brother, Marshall Brown, Jr.; sisters, Rita Von Senden, and Doris Picou.

Daisy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

The family would like to thank Dr. Russell Henry, the staff at The Homestead, and Haydel Memorial Hospice for their care and compassion.
