Daisy Brunet

Daisy Savin Brunet, 63, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018. She was a native of Brownsville, TX, long time resident of Little Caillou and resident of Thibodaux, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00AM until service time. A Liturgy of the Word will follow Memorial Visitation at 11:00AM. Burial will take place privately at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery at a later date.

Daisy is survived by her loving husband, Randy Brunet; son, Jesse Brunet; brothers, Manuel “Chico” Savin and wife Cindy, Allen Savin and wife Danita, Daniel Savin and wife Adelia. Daisy is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; whom she loved dearly.

Daisy is preceded in death by her parents; Dennis and Lidia Torres Savin; sister, Cecelia “Geraldine” Perryman; step-father, William “Bill” Saulsberry.

Daisy was a graduate of South Terrebonne High School on January 18, 1973. She married the love of her life; Randy Brunet one day later on January 19, 1973. Daisy was a loving soul who was her family’s rock and angel. She had many friends who loved her dearly. She was loved by all who met and knew her. She leaves behind her “fur babies”, her little dogs, Poncho, Emmy, and cat Binji.

Daisy’s favorite time of year was always Christmas and she passed on December 25th; the day we celebrate the birthday of our Lord and Savior. Daisy was the wind in the sails for her husband Randy and leaves him behind to the glory of Heaven. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends; but she will never, ever be forgotten.

The family would like to thank all those who helped Daisy in her time of need; especially the staff of Acadian Ambulance who assisted the family and also the staff of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.

The family request in lieu of flowers to send donations to Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter.
