Corey Glenn Paul Thibodeaux

Corey Glenn Paul Thibodeaux, 43, passed on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 5:14 pm. Corey is a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to a visitation on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00am until service time.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Chauvin Funeral Home at 11:00am.  A private burial will take place by the family at a later date.

Corey is survived by his children, Colby Dean and Lyza Thibodeaux; Mother, Barbara Thibodeaux; sister, April Marcel and husband Corey; nephews, Kodie Marcel and Blaize Marcel; and Cami Dean; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Corey is preceded in passing by his father, Glenn Paul Thibodeaux; grandparents, Willie P. Luke and Ezella “Chippy” Luke and Claude Thibodeaux and Stella Thibodeaux Brunet.

Corey enjoyed fishing with his family. He had a love for boats and was a gifted marine mechanic who could fix and repair any project given to him. His greatest treasure were his children.

Though his life was filled with many struggles, Corey had an intimate relationship with God and was filled with His spirit at the time of his death.  He will be deeply missed by his family and all those who were blessed to know him in his short but courageous lifetime.
