Clyde Buquet

Clyde Paul Buquet, 78, passed away on November 22, 2017. He was a native of Bayou Blue, LA and a resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be on Monday, November 27, 2017 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral from 9:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, November 27, 2017 beginning at 11:00AM with burial to follow in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. Clyde is survived by his loving and caring wife of fifty-seven years, Marylee Viteaux Buquet; daughters, Phyllis B. Morris and husband Timothy T. Morris and Tammy B. Blanchard and husband Dantre J. Blanchard; grandchildren, Amanda M. Morris, Tessie M. Blanchard, Dustin J. Blanchard, Tyler P. Morris, Delsin J. Blanchard. Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, Eunice Jean Buquet and Inez Dupre Buquet ; and son, David P. Buquet and daughter, Pamela T. Buquet. Clyde was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He also enjoyed fishing with his family and friends. Clyde was a member of the Boy Scouts in Troop #311. He enjoyed the functions of his grandchildren during their time in the Boy Scouts. He had a love of all things Western and enjoyed watching his Westerns with John Wayne. Clyde was loved by his family and friends and will never be forgotten; but always be loved.Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Buquet family.
