Clay Krider, age 63, passed away Monday December 20, 2021. He was born at the United States Naval Base in Quantico, Virgina and was a longtime resident of Texas.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Sunday December 26, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue Monday December 27, 2021 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery #2.
Clay is survived by his wife of 13 years, Rebecca Smith Krider; sons, Zachary Krider and wife Rachel, Kail Krider and wife Samantha, Nicholas Smith and wife Britney; grandchildren, Brooks, Lucy, Bodhi, and Madelyn Krider, Madisyn, and Eloise Smith; sisters, Susan Krider, and Darcie Zimmerman; nephew, Myles Zimmerman; niece, Paisley Zimmerman.
Clay is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Krider and Gladys Burnett Krider.
Clay was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, and above all being a cowboy. Clay traveled the world over his 43 years with Halliburton. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
