Clarisse Ann Legendre

Clarisse Ann Legendre, 87, a native and resident of Houma, La., passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022.

A visitation will be held in her honor at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 9Am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11Am. Burial will follow in St. Francis #1 Cemetery.

Clarisse is survived by her sisters, Rita Legendre and Jeanette (Norman) Simon; numerous nieces, nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Wildred Breaux Legendre and sister, Pearl (Dennis) McCarty.

Clarisse performed volunteer work for St. Francis Catholic Church and was a proud member of the St. Joseph Husband of Mary Society. She lived a simple life, but a happy one. Clarisse loved her family above all and will be remembered as a shining light for her loved ones. Clarisse will be dearly and deeply missed by all those who had the honor to know and love her.
