Cheryl Picou

Cheryl Marie Picou, age 72, a native and resident of Houma, LA passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 9:15AM.

Cheryl was the beloved wife of fifty-one years to Allie Paul Picou; and loving mother to Courtney, Beannie, and Blair Picou and Celeste and husband Blaine Melancon; sister of Glenn “Taz” Champagne and Nathalie Champagne Martin; loving grandmother of Trent Picou, Jai Melancon, Jennifer Picou Britton and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandmother to Allie Picou and Aliza Marcel.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents, Clement and Beatrice Albert Champagne; daughter Kimberly Picou; brothers, Melvin and Nathan Champagne and sisters, Ramona Champagne Lowe and Joanna Champagne LeBlanc.

Cheryl was a bus driver for the Terrebonne Parish School System for thirty plus years; and she enjoyed cooking, working in her flowerbeds and dancing.
