Cheryl Giroir Guidry

Cheryl Giroir Guidry, 69, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 6:27am.  Cheryl was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Houma, LA on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 11:00am at St. Anthony Church with burial in Bayou Black Cemetery.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Ralph Guidry; one daughter, Hollie Ledet and husband Robbie Ledet of Houma; one son, Shane Guidry of Houma; three grandchildren, Sarah Ledet George and husband Gregory “Hunter” George, Jonathan Ledet and Ryan Guidry;  and one brother , Keith Giroir and wife Lana.

Cheryl is preceded in passing by her father, Kurman Joseph Giroir and mother, Marguerite Crochet Giroir.

Cheryl was committed to her husband and her family; most especially her grandchildren; who she loved very dearly. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. 

Cheryl enjoyed traveling and going on family cruises.  She enjoyed playing bingo with her many friends and family.  

Cheryl was a life-long member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and had a deep faith and love of God.

Cheryl’s life will never be forgotten by her many friends and loving family.  She will be remembered and always loved.
