Charles John Pizzolato, age 83 passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home on August 27, 2017. He was a native of Laplace and a resident of Houma, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church on August 30, 2017 at 3897 Bayou Black Dr beginning at 9:00 am until 11:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery. Charles is survived by Son, Charles Wayne Pizzolato and fiancé', Courtney Yrle and Jason Pizzolato and wife, Michelle; Daughter, Kerrie Lynne Pizzolato and companion, Shane Lunk: Sister, Josie Duhe, and Veleda Donaldson; grandchildren, Brooks, Jay, Christopher, Tiffany, Shannon, Dain, Dillon, Alyssa, Brandi and Brad; great-grandchildren, Madison, Cameron, Ryley, Andrew, Ellie, Brooke, Olivia, Parker and Luke; godchildren, Veleda Donaldson, Richie Duhe, and Angela L. Trahan. Charles is preceded in death by Wife, Rosemary "Panama" Elaine Pizzolato; Daughter, Cheryl Ann Pizzolato; Parents, Charlie and Thelma Millet Pizzolato. He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Charles was a loving husband. He was owner of Charlie's Barber Shop for 58 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and sports.   He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.   He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. Flowers are accepted or donations to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation are appreciated. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the Pizzolato family.
