Charles Bush

Charles Ronald Bush Jr. DDS, 78, passed away on June 9, 2017 at 8:22PM.  He was a native of Chicago IL, and a resident of Gray, LA.   Visitation will be on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 8:30AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home.  A Memorial Service will begin on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00AM at Chauvin Funeral Home.  Dr. Bush is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Phyllis Sison Bush; sons, Charles R. Bush III and Frank Bush and wife Jacqueline; Son-in-Law, Logan Aldridge; Grandchildren, Lisa Kay Aldridge, Evan Aldridge, Hayden Aldridge, Brennen King, Charlotte Bush, and Katherine Bush; and nephew William Bush. He is preceded by his parents, Charles Ronald Bush Sr. and Edna Hoft Bush; brother Eugene “Butch” Bush, and daughter Stephanie Aldridge, Christy Bush; granddaughter, Alyssa Aldridge, and niece Catherine Bush. Dr. Bush had a love for the Lord and loved his family and his many friends.  He had a passion for the Practice of Dentistry and all his patients.   He was involved in multiple hobbies. A few of his more famous hobbies were photography, cross-country motor cycle riding, and study of languages.  Always in a good mood, Dr. Bush was known for his sage advice to close friends and casual acquaintances alike, his generosity, his love of learning and teaching, and sharing his faith. Dr. Bush loved spending his time with Lord both in prayer and study of His Word.
