Carroll Joseph Ledet, 67, a native and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 5:08 p.m.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 7, 2018 in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with burial in St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.
Carroll is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mildred LeBlanc Ledet; son, Kevin Ledet; daughters, Laurie Moreau and husband Donnie and Katelynn Souldier, grandchildren, Jennifer Ledet, Chelsey Borne, and Camren Moreau; great grandchildren, Hank Borne, Amelia Gilbert, Intended Lucas Gilbert; brothers, Louis, Jr. “Onnie” and Tommy Ledet; sisters, Suzie Lichenstein and Cyndi Smith.
Carroll is preceded in death by his parents, Louis, Sr., and Mary Callahan Ledet; and sister, June Ledet.
Carroll was a consultant in the oilfield. He was a member of the Unity Lodge 267 Masonic. He enjoyed fishing, going to the camp, cooking, loved family and friends. He loved his grandchildren. He loved to repair small gas engines and flying home made airplanes.
