Carolyn Lovell

Carolyn Elizabeth Lovell, 63, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 12:10AM.  She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held at Chauvin Funeral Home on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM and on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 9:00AM until service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot, LA.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Eloi Church at 11:00AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Carolyn is survived by her children, Murray Buquet and wife Dawn and Clint Buquet Sr. and wife Heather; brothers, Weldon Lovell and wife Beverly, Donald Lovell and wife Barbara, Douglas Lovell, Tony Lovell and wife Lynette, and Anthony Lovell Jr.; sisters, Brenda Lovell, Linda Lovell and husband Clayton, grandchildren, Clint Buquet Jr., Natalie Buquet, Brayden Buquet, brother-in-law, Rodney Parfait. Carolyn is also survived by her husband Louis Doiron. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Lovell Sr. and Elta Billiot; sisters, Veronica Lovell and Kathy Lovell. She worked for the Terrebonne Parish School Board as a bus driver for many years. Many children knew her simply as “the bus lady”. She was a wonderful cook and was known for great meals and prepared dishes. Carolyn was a wonderful mother and grandmother.  She was loved dearly and will be forever missed; but never forgotten.Chauvin Funeral Home Inc., is honored to serve the Lovell family.
