It is with both sadness and celebration that we announce the passing of Carol A. Frederick, who departed this life on December 11, 2024, in his cherished home in Chauvin, Louisiana. Born on December 3, 1952, in Morgan City, LA, Carol lived a life full of adventure, love, and passion for the outdoors.
Carol is survived by his daughters, Kayla LeBouef (Kurt), Dana Labouve (Shayne), and Tracie LeBlanc; grandchildren, Brandon Labouve (Lindsey), Nelson Labouve (Heather), Ethan LeBouef, Hunter LeBouef, Mary McGraw, Lexie LeBouef, and Mason McGraw; great-grandchild, Anna Rae Labouve; sisters, Amanda Frederick and Patricia Ashley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda Frederick; parents, James and Betty Frederick; sister, Melinda Dimatto; and brothers, Jimmy Frederick and Rodney Fredrick.
He touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his unwavering spirit and love for family. His connection with the world around him was profound; he relished hunting and fishing in the serene landscapes of Louisiana. He found joy in riding his side-by-side, exploring the great outdoors, and creating lasting memories with loved ones.
A lover of music, wrestling, and football, Carol's vibrant personality and infectious laughter brought light to every gathering. His loyal companion, Daisy, a testament to his loving nature, was always by his side, accompanying him on countless adventures.
As we gather, let us remember the warmth of his smile, the joy he found in simple pleasures, and the love he poured into every relationship he nurtured.
As he embarks on his next adventure, Carol A. Frederick will always be remembered as a devoted father, an outdoor enthusiast, and a cherished friend to many. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
