Carmen Use'

Carmen Marie Porche Use`, departed from her earthly home on Sunday evening, March 2, 2025, at the age of 88, enroute to meeting her Heavenly Father. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:" 2nd Timothy

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation in the Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home on Friday, March 7, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Liturgy of the Word at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.

Carmen will be sadly missed by many but will always be fondly remembered for her wit and sense of humor, her love of music and dancing and the love she had for her family. She retired after many years of service from Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government.

Carmen is survived by her children, Debra Cobb (Jim), Vicky Hawkes (John), Susan Clement (George) and Tina Chaisson, along with grandchildren, Jeanne, Wendy, Jade, Josh, Cayla, Charmaine, Danielle, Angel, Blake, and Nicole; 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Burton Porche.

Carmen has been reunited with her beloved husband of 43 years, Charles Use`; children, Cindy Cangelosi, David use`, and son-in-law, Daniel Johnson; parents, Esther and Newel Porche, Sr. and her siblings, Jane Dean, Janet Hitt, Newel, Jr. and Elizabeth Boquet.

The family would like to thank The Oaks of Houma and its wonderful staff for the love and care they gave her over the years.

May Carmen's soul rest in eternal peace and love.
